Preservation	Lost. The only surviving copy claimed is a «corrupted» one held by a Chinese scene user (October 2024), who calls it by the commercial name 梦回倚天2（新区2）.rar.

What it is

Of yt2.rar we know the name, the exact byte count (155,567,047) and the MD5 (bb0f21f8…) thanks to a period metadata entry of the same kind that, for game0901.tar.gz, matches the verified MD5 of the file we hold: a fingerprint obtained without ever seeing it.

The byte count tells us what was inside: 155,567,047 − 142,394,597 = 13,172,450 bytes for everything else. A RAR does not compress .tar.gz files, so the other tarballs (lib, mysql, probably not ports, which alone weighed 45-60 MB) had to fit in 12.5 MiB. The «mysql, ports, lib» list that circulates does not come from yt2.rar: it comes from a Polish index from 2022-2024 and is stated as «probable» by whoever published it.

Why it is lost is explained by the architecture of the service that hosted it, described in the 2009 literature: large, seldom-requested files were deleted automatically. A 148 MiB archive sought by a few dozen people was doomed by the platform's very design, while the game it contained spread across half the world.

The evidence

• F Exact byte count read from a period metadata entry.
• F The identifier matches the MD5: proven by construction on the twin metadata entry for game.tar.gz (9e954c11… = verified MD5 of the file we hold).
• F No known copy in any public archive (verified in 2026).
• T «Corrupted» copy held by a Chinese scene user, never shared despite Exynox's public request (30/6/2025).

What it is NOT

• It cannot be rain's «一键» package from 19/9/2009 (Mc倚天2一键.exe, 636,979,265 bytes): it is the «原版», the bare original, published separately by rain.
