Client 《倚天II》 · 内测2 (October 2004)
The oldest complete Metin2 client that survives. The build of the second Chinese closed beta (内测2, 8-15 October 2004): 4½ months before the oldest pack of the 2005 client.

What it is
228 files, 315 MB, 17,157 files in the packs. Opened only with 7-Zip and read: never executed.
It shows a different game from the one we know: different cities, 310 monsters in mob_proto (later to become 397), fishing, guild buildings, YMIR's GM logo.

The evidence

- I Build of 内测2: the dates fall between 3 and 8 October, the second beta opens on the 8th.
What it is NOT
- Debunks the legend «a 2004 Metin2 client does not exist» (see metin2-cn-2005-exe).
