Keys and chat commands
These are the keys the client of October 2004 answers to. They cannot be changed: the options window only has the two volume sliders.
·Moving and fighting
Click on the ground to walk and on an enemy to attack. The arrow keys and W, A, S, D move the character too; Space attacks.
The key to the left of 1 picks up what lies on the ground.
·Camera
Q and E turn the camera, R and F move it closer and farther, T and G tilt it. Holding Ctrl and the right mouse button turns it freely.
·Quick slots
1, 2, 3, 4 and F1, F2, F3, F4 use the eight quick slots of the bottom bar. Shift with a number changes the page of the bar.
·Windows
C opens the character window, V the skills, N the quests, I the inventory, M the map and H the help. The plus and minus keys of the number pad zoom the minimap.
Holding Alt shows the names of the characters and of the items on the ground. Print Screen saves a screenshot.
·Chat
Enter opens the chat line, Shift with Enter a whisper, L the chat log.
A line that starts with the hash sign goes to the party, with the percent sign to the guild, with the exclamation mark it is shouted to the whole empire. Between two shouts the client makes you wait 15 seconds.
·Commands the client sends by itself
Many buttons of the 2004 interface do nothing but write a command in your place. Knowing them helps to understand what a Chinese button does.
The plus buttons of the character window send /stat with ht, iq, st or dx: vitality, intelligence, strength, dexterity. The plus of a skill sends /skillup with the number of the skill, that of a guild skill /gskillup.
The two buttons that appear when you die send /restart_here and /restart_town.
The warehouse sends /safebox_password with the password you typed, /safebox_change_password to change it and /safebox_close when the window is closed.
The guild window declares war with /war followed by the name of the other guild. The challenged leader's answer sends /war to accept and /nowar to refuse.
